Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Executive located in Simpang Ampat. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for managing HR operations, developing and enforcing HR policies, handling employee relations, and overseeing various human resources functions to ensure smooth organizational processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in payroll migration, be knowledgeable in Malaysia’s statutory contributions, and have exposure to expatriate tax matters. This role requires someone who is meticulous, able to meet tight deadlines, and flexible in handling other HR responsibilities as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll migration, with accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Ensure adherence to Malaysia statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, Income Tax, etc.).
• Handle expatriate-related matters, including tax compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
• Support HR reporting, audits, and statutory compliance activities.
• Assist in compensation & benefits administration, including coordinating and facilitating the performance appraisal process.
• Participate in planning and executing employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR initiatives and continuous process improvements.
• Undertake additional HR-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR operations, with hands-on payroll migration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia statutory contributions and expatriate tax regulations.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in HRIS/Payroll systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
