Position Overview
We are seeking a Human-Centered Design Systems Engineer to conduct user research and apply design thinking principles to mission systems. This role will support research initiatives that improve system usability and user effectiveness.
Develop and execute user research plans
Conduct interviews, surveys, and observational studies
Analyze findings and translate insights into design recommendations
Collaborate with system engineers and developers
Produce reports, research artifacts, and usability findings
Support design thinking workshops and stakeholder engagement
Help improve system interfaces and workflows

Required Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor's Degree in Human Centered-Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Systems Design, Psychology or related discipline
Experience conducting user research or usability research
Understanding of design thinking methodologies
Experience working in technical system environments
Strong analytical and research documentation skills

Experience with network engineering environments
Portfolio of research artifacts or case studies
