Unit Description:
The Housing Assistant acts as an ambassador for McMaster University's Housing and Conference Services team, delivering exceptional customer service while representing the University with professionalism and care. This role provides a visible, approachable, and dependable front-line presence, proactively anticipating and responding to the needs of guests, residents, and stakeholders to ensure a positive and seamless experience.
We are currently hiring primarily for day shift: Monday - Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm (day shift working 37.5 hrs per week). Please note that all shifts on evenings, nights, and weekends have an additional shift premium!
Job Summary:
Education & Experience:
Secondary School diploma. Requires 18 months of relevant experience.

- Be self-motivated, take initiative, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Provide support to students, hotel and conference guests, and campus partners with a focus on exceptional service.
