We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Sales Lead
to own and grow our
key hospital accounts
, including
private specialist practices operating within hospital settings
.
This is a senior, hands-on commercial role focused on
strategic account leadership, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships
with hospital stakeholders and specialists.
Role Description
Hospital & Specialist Account Leadership
- Lead and manage a portfolio of
key private hospitals and their in-house specialist practices
- Act as the primary commercial partner to hospital management, department heads, and key specialists
- Develop deep understanding of hospital workflows, referral patterns, and clinical decision-making
Revenue Growth & Commercial Strategy
- Drive
test adoption, profile optimisation, and service expansion
across hospital accounts
- Identify growth opportunities across core pathology, specialised testing, and new diagnostic offerings
- Build and execute account plans with clear revenue, penetration, and growth targets
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Engage senior clinicians, specialists, hospital administrators, and procurement teams
- Partner closely with internal medical, operations, and customer service teams to deliver on commitments
- Support tenders, pricing discussions, and contract renewals where applicable
Execution Excellence
- Translate commercial strategy into on-the-ground execution
- Track performance metrics, account KPIs, and growth initiatives
- Ensure service quality, issue resolution, and account satisfaction are consistently maintained
Who We're Looking For
- 10–15+ years of experience in
healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or hospital sales
- Proven track record managing
hospital accounts and senior clinical stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate at
both strategic and executional levels
- Comfortable navigating complex hospital environments and multiple decision-makers
- Data-driven, structured, and outcome-oriented
