Neurophos provides high-throughput, energy-efficient AI inference by replacing electronic processors with optical hardware. The company builds Optical Processing Units (OPUs) and photonic chips that use metamaterials and silicon photonics to perform matrix operations with dramatically reduced area and power compared with conventional GPUs. Its approach re-architects tensor-core unit cells to enable ultra-dense modulators and compute-in-memory photonic designs that target data center and enterprise AI workloads. Neurophos operates as a B2B hardware and licensing vendor, offering prototype OPUs, development systems, and integration pathways for compute-intensive customers and hyperscale infrastructure.
