Role Overview
We are seeking a new Head of Marketing & Sales with proven experience in promoting and selling steel detailing and related engineering services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, client outreach, marketing initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships, primarily in the North American market.
This role is sales-driven (approximately 70%) with marketing support responsibilities (approximately 30%).
Key Responsibilities
● Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)
Generate and convert new business opportunities for structural steel detailing and allied services, primarily in the US market.
● Client Acquisition & Deal Closure
Manage the full sales cycle; prospecting, client outreach, coordination, negotiation, and closure.
● Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact.
● Sales Strategy & Revenue Tracking
Execute sales plans, track pipeline progress, forecast revenue, and work toward defined targets.
● Marketing Support (Secondary Focus)
Support lead generation through targeted marketing efforts such as LinkedIn outreach, campaigns, and basic brand visibility initiatives.
● Process & Funnel Optimization
Improve sales workflows, follow-up systems, and documentation to increase efficiency and conversions.
● Client Coordination
Participate in client calls and video meetings, primarily aligned with US business hours, with partial overlap during Indian working hours as required.
● Internal Communication
Communicate client needs, feedback, and requirements clearly to management and technical teams.
Ǫualifications & Requirements
● 5-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within steel detailing, BIM, or related AEC services.
● Demonstrated sales experience with the ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close deals.
● Understanding of structural steel workflows and exposure to AISC-based projects is strongly preferred.
● Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to understand american accents
● Comfortable using CRM tools, sales trackers, and basic analytics.
● Good negotiation, presentation, and client-handling skills.
● Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently in a hybrid or remote setup.
