EZMEMS is hiring a Head of Process Engineering
EZMEMS is a deep-tech startup developing and manufacturing breakthrough sensing technology that enables the next generation of Physical AI across a wide range of real-world applications.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Process Engineering to lead our manufacturing processes during a critical growth phase.
This role includes end-to-end responsibility for process development, optimization, stabilization, and operational control, while building the process infrastructure needed to support production scale-up and long-term quality, consistency, and repeatability.
This is a highly Hands-on role, especially in the initial phase, with a strong focus on process improvement, troubleshooting, and operational stabilization. Full on-site presence in Caesarea is required due to the Hands-on nature of the role and the need for close involvement in process development, equipment oversight, production support, and cross-functional execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes across the company
• Ensure process stability, repeatability, and scalability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in early-stage production
• Establish and implement process control methodologies
• Identify and resolve process inefficiencies, deviations, and yield issues
• Oversee machine operation, calibration, maintenance, and verification
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with equipment and operational procedures
• Work closely with R&D on process development and transfer to production
• Partner with QA to ensure process compliance, validation, and quality standards
• Lead processes in an advanced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on precision, consistency, and control
Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant field
• Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment in the semiconductor, microelectronics, or a related industry
• Experience in process development, optimization, stabilization, and control
• Strong understanding of process control, yield improvement, and production scale-up
• Experience identifying and solving process-related issues and manufacturing problems
• Familiarity with production equipment, calibration, maintenance, and validation processes
• Hands-on experience with machine software for process control, operation, and troubleshooting
• Strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings (CAD) and electronic documentation, including schematics, Gerber files, and system diagrams
• Understanding of material behavior and its impact on process parameters, process stability, and product performance
• Experience with polymeric materials and/or sensing technologies is an advantage
• Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple teams
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with transfer from development to manufacturing
• Experience with polymer-based processes or sensing-related technologies
