Claviate is a rapidly growing tech company developing AI-based solutions for offshore and onshore construction projects in the wind industry. Our technology is already in operation with several of the world’s largest developers and manufacturers, and we are now entering a scaling phase with significant international demand.

To support this growth, we are looking for a  Head of Finance  who can take full ownership of the finance function and ensure that our financial structure evolves in line with the company’s development.

Your responsibilities

• Ownership of monthly closing, annual accounts, and ongoing reporting to management and the board
• Develop and professionalize the finance function as we scale
• Cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Sparring partner to the CEO and board on financing, growth plans, and commercial decisions
• Set up and optimize processes and systems (including invoicing, subscriptions, project economics, and contract follow-up)
• Coordinate with auditors and external financial partners
• Support fundraising processes and investor reporting
• Further development of pricing models across hardware, software, and services
• Opportunity to build a finance team as the company grows

Who you are

• Solid experience in accounting, controlling, and financial reporting
• Comfortable working both operationally and strategically
• Structured, self-driven, and detail-oriented
• Experience from SaaS, scale-ups, or project-driven businesses is an advantage
• Strong business understanding and desire to be close to key decisions
• Comfortable with responsibility and creating clarity in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• German skills are an advantage, but not a requirement
