• Establish and manage the full cycle of prototype and pre-production assembly (POC, MVP).
• Plan and allocate resources — people, time, materials, and tools.
• Build agile yet reliable prototyping workflows without compromising quality.
• Develop and optimize temporary production processes, tooling, and fixtures.

Lead and Develop the Team

• Build, mentor, and motivate a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, electronics, composites, integration).
• Set goals, prioritize tasks, and oversee performance (Jira or similar tools).
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Ensure Engineering Integration

• Collaborate with R&D and Industrial Engineering teams to refine design solutions.
• Provide structured feedback on manufacturability and assembly efficiency (DFM/DFA).

Oversee Quality and Testing

• Ensure prototype assembly quality and readiness for flight testing.
• Conduct acceptance testing, troubleshoot defects, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation, analyze issues, and ensure lessons learned are captured.

Build the Workshop Infrastructure

• Manage the experimental workshop (tools, test benches, 3D printing, composites).
• Ensure the availability of materials and components for prototyping.
• Uphold safety, order, and quality standards at all times.

Collaborate Across Teams

• Work closely with Supply Chain, QA, Production, and Flight Test units.
• Participate in technical reviews, PLM/BOM updates, and project boards.
• Support seamless transition from prototype to serial production.

What You Bring To The Team

• Technical degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in prototype or experimental production (UAV, aerospace, or related).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical assembly, and integration.
• Hands-on expertise with production documentation, fixtures, and prototype tooling.
• Familiarity with CAD systems (SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX).
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.
