Wealth management runs on emails, spreadsheets, and legacy software that hasn't meaningfully changed in 20 years. Otto is changing that.
We're building an autonomous engine to rewire how wealth management operates — replacing manual, fragmented back-office work with intelligent, agentic workflows that let advisers focus entirely on clients. We're already deployed at some of the largest wealth managers in the UK, closing significant enterprise contracts, and backed by Sequoia.
This is a rare moment: a hard problem, a proven market (over £2 trillion investable assets in the UK alone), real traction, and the backing to go after it properly.
The Role:
We're looking for a Head of Engineering to help own the technical foundation of Otto as we scale. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role that sits at the heart of the company — working directly with the founders to shape what we build, how we build it, and who we build it with.
The role is designed to expand significantly as we scale. There is meaningful scope for this to grow into the defining technical leadership position in the company.
The best candidate has built before — ideally as a founder, early engineer, or technical lead at a company that went from zero to something real. You understand what it means to make architectural decisions that matter, to ship fast without breaking things, and to build for high trust enterpise clients.
