Role Overview

We’re looking for a Head of AI to define, lead, and execute Mavarick’s AI vision. This is a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of data science, engineering, and product strategy. You’ll set the direction for how our AI capabilities evolve and ensure that vision translates into real, scalable impact for manufacturers worldwide.

You Will

• Define the long-term AI vision, roadmap, and technical standards that underpin our product strategy
• Lead the design and delivery of AI capabilities across emissions intelligence, decision optimisation, and automation
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI/data team capable of executing at scale
• Partner with product and engineering to align model development with customer and business priorities
• Establish frameworks for data quality, model governance, and responsible AI
• Represent Mavarick externally as a thought leader in AI for decarbonisation and supply chain transformation

What You Bring

• A proven track record of building and shipping AI-driven products, ideally within enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience setting AI strategy and converting vision into measurable outcomes
• Strong grounding in data science, ML, or AI systems, capable of guiding technical decisions and mentoring teams
• Experience growing and leading cross-functional AI or data teams through early-stage to growth phases
• Ability to balance technical depth with strategic execution, prioritising what drives the most impact
• Exceptional communicator with credibility across executive, technical, and client audiences
• Passion for building technology that accelerates the world’s transition to a low-carbon economy
