Development, validation, and transition to series production of electronic assemblies for embedded systems, focusing on analogue and power electronic circuits for ultrasonic signal generation
Identification of hardware, system, and user requirements
Development of analogue, digital, and power electronic circuits
Design and evaluation of driver and power stage concepts (e.g., for piezoelectric and resonant loads)
Schematic design, participation in PCB layout concept, review, and release
Selection and evaluation of electronic components considering availability, second sourcing, and lifecycle
Development of power supply, protection, and monitoring concepts (current, voltage, temperature)
Support of hardware-related firmware (pin mapping, peripheral configuration, timing, debug interfaces)
Commissioning, testing, and systematic debugging of prototypes and series devices
Analysis of resonance behavior, efficiency, thermal stress, and operating limits
Prototype construction and support of the transition to series production
Ensuring manufacturing and series readiness (DFM/DFA/DFT)
Support of production during ramp-up, testing, and failure analysis
Technical support for service and support teams regarding hardware-related issues
Documentation of all development activities including design decisions, changes, risks, and deviations
What you bring:
Very strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design
Experience in power electronics (half-/full-bridge circuits, switching regulators, resonant operation)
Solid knowledge of microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex)
Basic knowledge of hardware-related software development (C/C++)
Experience with EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad), SPICE simulation, measurement and laboratory equipment
Several years of experience in embedded hardware development, ideally with exposure to power electronics or ultrasonic systems
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field
Very strong understanding of physical and mathematical principles
Excellent English skills
