At Overwatch AI we're building AI decision-support systems for airline operations, helping pilots, operations managers and ground staff make better decisions faster, keeping planes flying and reducing costly disruptions. Our systems are live in real flight operations with airlines across the world. We're backed by United Airlines Ventures, Pegasus Innovation Lab, Techstars and other leading industry investors.

The role

We're looking for a GTM/Sales Lead with an aviation industry background to own how we win new airline customers. You'll work directly with the founders to build the pipeline, run deals end to end and grow the relationships that turn Wingman into the standard for airline operations. This is our first dedicated commercial hire, so you'll have real ownership of sales from day one. This is a full-time remote role, but with an option to relocate to Barcelona.

You do not need startup or AI experience. If you've sold or done business development into airlines and other industry stakeholders and you know how the industry actually works and buys, and you want to bring the tools you always wished existed to the people who need them, we want to talk.

What you'll be working on

• Own and build the sales pipeline: identify, research and prioritise target airlines and other industry customers
• Run outreach and prospecting, from cold contact to first conversation
• Manage deals end to end: discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation and close
• Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers across airline ops, procurement and innovation teams
• Represent Overwatch AI at industry events, conferences and with key accounts
• Keep the CRM and pipeline data clean, and report on progress to the CEO
• Feed market and customer insight back into product and positioning

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of sales or business development experience in an aviation or airline environment (required)
• Deep understanding of airline operations (flight ops, OCC, ground ops, etc.) is required
• Experience in software sales in an aviation context is a plus
• Startup mindset: ownership, curiosity, flexibility. Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out independently
• Fluent English. Other languages are a plus
• Based in Barcelona or Spain is a plus
