About the Role
Dex is growing fast, and we're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help us build the engine that powers our next phase. You'll sit within the growth function, reporting directly to the Head of Growth, and your job is simple: own channels, run experiments, and get s*** done.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage spreadsheets and wait for approval. It's for someone who wants to roll their sleeves up, move quickly, and learn what it takes to build a growth function from scratch at an exciting seed-stage startup.
You'll have real ownership from day one, with a clear path to grow into a senior role as Dex scales.
What You'll Do
No two days will be the same
We are in hyper experimentation and learning mode, there is no blue print for what we are doing, as a result, the work will be varied, often wrong, but never boring.
To give a bit more of an idea of the kinds of things you’ll be involved in:
Execute the growth strategy. You'll take ideas from hypothesis to execution, running experiments across channels and doubling down on what works. You'll think in funnels & loops, not campaigns.
Test and validate new channels. You'll systematically explore outbound automation, newsletters, podcasts, sponsorships, and whatever else looks promising, with a bias towards speed and learning over perfection.
Lead on community-driven growth. Dex has a passionate user base. You'll find ways to turn that energy into a growth lever — building community, fostering word-of-mouth, and creating spaces where our audience wants to participate.
Run events and meetups. You'll own our in-person event programme, from planning to execution, as a channel to build brand, generate pipeline, and deepen relationships with our audience.
Optimise our landing pages and conversion. You'll work hands-on to improve how we capture and convert interest, testing copy, layouts, CTAs, and messaging until the numbers move.
Track what matters. You'll own the metrics for the channels you run, understand what's driving results, and communicate clearly on performance and learnings.
About You
You are high agency, high intelligence and have excellent judgement. You've already shown you can take initiative, move fast, and figure things out. You're hungry to prove yourself in a high-growth environment.
You're a self-starter. You don't wait to be told what to do — you spot the opportunity, make a plan, and go. You're comfortable with ambiguity and you'd rather make a decision and learn than wait for perfect information.
You have some experience in growth or marketing whether in-house, at an agency, or even in a commercial role and you're ready to take the next step. You understand that growth marketing is about testing hypotheses and driving revenue, not producing content for content's sake.
You're practical and hands-on. You can write decent copy, put together a landing page, set up a basic workflow, and figure out new tools quickly. You don't need everything handed to you.
You're excited about the early-stage startup environment. You understand that things change fast, priorities shift, and that's part of the deal. You want to be part of building something, not just executing inside something that's already built.
