You think like a builder, but you act like a founder. You care about funnels, activation, and retention just as much as APIs and UI. One week you’re improving onboarding and activation flows; the next you’re shipping a scrappy feature that unlocks distribution or removes friction in the user journey. You don’t wait for perfect specs - you ship, measure, learn, and iterate.

This is a role for someone who’s technical enough to implement things themselves, product-minded enough to know what to build, and growth-oriented enough to always ask why it matters for users and revenue .

What You’ll Do

• Build lightweight product features that support distribution, engagement, and expansion (e.g. sharing, invitations, lifecycle hooks).
• Contribute to product-led growth for Tandem’s self-serve offering - from first touch to habitual usage.
• Design, build, and iterate on onboarding, activation, and re-activation flows that help users reach value fast.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to align GTM initiatives with what’s built in the product.
• Use data to identify friction, drop-offs, and opportunities across the funnel - and turn insights into shipped improvements.
• Contribute to implementing growth experiments in: ideation, build, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Set up and maintain the foundations for growth analytics: events, funnels, dashboards, and basic experimentation.
• Balance speed and quality - shipping fast, but always with a clear hypothesis and measurable outcome.

What You Bring

• Experience building and shipping user-facing products in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Software Engineering skills to be able to implement smaller features yourself (full-stack).
• Strong product instincts - you can reason about UX, user behavior, and tradeoffs without needing everything spelled out.
• Comfort working with data, funnels, metrics, and experiments to guide decisions.
• A bias toward action: you ship, measure, and adjust rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• A genuine interest in healthcare, AI, and building tools that people rely on in their daily work.

Bonus Points

• You’ve started your own company or side project, built a product yourself, or driven early traction end-to-end.
• Experience with growth tooling (analytics, experimentation, lifecycle messaging).
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React) and backend APIs.
• Experience working close to GTM teams or product-led growth motions.
• You’ve worked in a regulated or trust-heavy domain before - or you’re curious to learn.
