Role Description
This is a role for a Grant Writer specializing in neurotechnology, digital health, and Al. The responsibilities include researching grant opportunities, drafting compelling grant proposals, managing grant applications, and assisting in fundraising activities. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely submission of proposals to optimize funding opportunities.
Please Apply Only If You Meet the Following
This is not an entry-level or “grant support” role. We are looking for a proven operator.
Please apply only if you can clearly demonstrate:
• You have personally led and secured UK grant funding (not just supported or assisted).
• You have secured funding from Innovate UK and/or other major UK R&D bodies.
• You can demonstrate a track record of successful outcomes, including total funding value secured.
• You have experience writing for deep tech, AI, hardware, medical device, or advanced R&D companies.
• You are confident translating highly technical concepts (e.g. AI models, EEG systems, hardware-software integration) into strong commercial and innovation narratives.
• You are comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
If your experience is primarily administrative, academic, or advisory without direct funding wins, this role will not be the right fit.
