AI/GenAI Engineer

Location : Wisconsin (Remote)

Job Description:

We are hiring a part-time, experienced AI/GenAI Engineer specializing in ML, CNNs, SLMs, and LLMs to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of designing and implementing machine learning, CNNs, RAGs, and SLMs/LLMs within the context of embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, deploy, and maintain AI models on mobile apps and edge devices.
2. Optimize models for real-time performance and resource constraints of edge devices.
3. Work closely with our cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our products.
4. Generate AI insights using our own health and safety proprietary data.
5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in the field GenAI.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience (3+ years) working with AI/GenAI platforms and embedded systems.
3. Strong proficiency in Python, embedded C, TensorFlow, Jupyter, and/or PyTorch.
4. Experience with C/C++ and embedded software development.
5. Familiarity with Edge AI technologies and platforms.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with deploying models on edge devices.
2. Knowledge of optimizing machine learning models for constrained environments.
3. Understanding of cloud services and IoT technologies.
4. Experience with MLOps will be a plus.

Note:

This is a part-time position to start, with the possibility of converting to a full-time role in H2 2026.
