About Us Silicon Quantum Computing is pioneering the future of quantum technology. As the world’s first company to manufacture qubits with atomic precision, we’re delivering quantum advantage today, not decades from now.
Founded by Professor Michelle Simmons, one of the world’s leading materials scientists, SQC has achieved major breakthroughs including the first single-atom transistor and the first integrated circuit built with atomic precision. Our Chair, Simon Segars, former CEO of ARM, brings deep global experience as we scale our technology and commercial impact.
Our quantum machine learning chip, Watermelon, is already accelerating AI in ways classical systems can’t match. We’re generating significant revenue and working closely with multinational partners to solve complex problems with quantum solutions.
SQC is a fast-paced, high-accountability environment where people grow quickly and contribute meaningfully. If you’re excited by deep tech, ambitious about your career, and ready to help shape the future of computing, we’d love to hear from you.
About The Role As General Manager – Quantum Systems Delivery, you will drive the commercial growth of SQC’s products, including its quantum enhanced AI processor, Watermelon and its quantum simulator, Quantum Twins. This is a unique opportunity to scale world-leading quantum processors manufactured with atomic precision to globally unique enterprise‑ready products. You will own the journey from leading edge technology to scalable offerings, defining clear value propositions, building repeatable revenue, and accelerating customer adoption across global markets.
The General Manager will shape how SQC’s quantum computing platforms go to market at global scale. This role is suited to a leader who has scaled software led B2B technology businesses, understands modern go-to-market models, and can engage confidently across machine learning, computer hardware, and cloud infrastructure. Leveraging your experience, you will develop low-friction go-to-market strategies to sell and evolve SQC’s products.
You will direct and coordinate resources across SQC’s Product and Software Development teams to shape product‑market fit, establish effective distribution of quantum processors, and build a scalable, repeatable commercial engine. In doing so, you will build and lead the team responsible for setting the global standard for enterprise adoption of quantum computing products.
