Job Description:

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in managing and scaling GCP cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and Scale GCP Services: Manage and optimize Google Cloud Platform resources, including Compute Engine (Linux), VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, BigQuery, Kubernetes (GKE), and databases.

• Architect Cloud Solutions: Design secure, scalable, and highly available architectures aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform modules for provisioning infrastructure across environments, including state management in Cloud Storage buckets.

• CI/CD Automation: Exposure to Build and maintain pipelines using Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools for automated deployments.

• Policy as Code (PaC): Implement and enforce infrastructure and security policies, identity controls, service accounts, and IAM policies with audit-readiness.

• Monitoring and Performance: Utilize Stack driver for resource monitoring, create alerts, dashboards, and ensure uptime SLAs.

• Containerization: Enable containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE), with Helm integration for application packaging.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with security, governance, and architecture teams to ensure compliance and best practices.

• Optimization: Conduct drift detection, cost analysis, and performance tuning for GCP environments.

• Secrets Management: Integrate Vault or Secret Manager for secure handling of CI/CD credentials and secrets.

• Documentation: Prepare architecture diagrams, operational playbooks, and postmortem reports for incidents.
