Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Functional Validation Engineer
with strong
automation and framework development expertise
to support validation of
automotive SoCs with 6+ Years of experience
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
automotive IP validation
, scalable automation frameworks, and system-level validation methodologies. This role focuses on accelerating validation cycles through modular, reusable, and extensible validation architectures.
Key ResponsibilitiesFramework Architecture & Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain
scalable and modular automation frameworks
for automotive SoC validation.
- Implement reusable components, abstraction layers, and robust error-handling mechanisms.
- Develop
extensible APIs
to integrate with external tools, workflows, and CI systems.
Functional Validation
- Define and drive
functional validation strategies
for automotive IPs including:
- LIN, CAN, UART, I2C, FlexRay, GTM, and processor cores
- Ensure
system-level coverage
, protocol compliance, and validation completeness.
- Develop and execute system-level use cases and end-to-end validation scenarios.
Coverage, Debug & Metrics
- Implement
KPI-driven validation metrics
and coverage strategies.
- Perform evidence-based debug and root cause analysis for complex validation issues.
- Provide clear validation reports and documentation.
Required Skills & QualificationsProgramming & Scripting
- Strong proficiency in
Python
and
Shell scripting
- Solid working knowledge of C/C++
Validation & Automation Tools
- Experience with
CI/CD workflows
and version control systems such as
Git, SVN
, or similar tools
- Familiarity with
lab automation
and equipment control using
SCPI/VISA protocols
Validation Expertise
- Strong understanding of
functional validation methodologies
- Experience in system-level validation
for automotive SoCs
- Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-quality validation solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in
automotive SoC or safety-critical systems
- Exposure to compliance-driven validation environments
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
