The Waymo Commercialization team works on Waymo One, our public, fully autonomous ride-hailing service. Riders can use the Waymo One app to hail one of our vehicles (with no human driver in the front seat!) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our riders get a clean vehicle every time and a Driver with more than 20 million miles of experience on public roads. In this hybrid role, you will report to an Engineering Manager. You Will * Help build and evolve one or more mission-critical commercialization tools and systems * Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams across sites to develop user-facing products for external and internal use. You Have * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * 4+ years of experience in full-stack development. * Backend experience in Java, Python, GO, C++ or equivalent. * Front-end experience in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent. * Knowledge of front-end web technologies. We Prefer * Experience building data visualization applications with an eye for design. * Experience with engineering artifacts, reliability monitoring and alerting, security and privacy practices and techniques, documentation, integration testing, production hygiene, and support processes. * Experience communicating updates and resolutions with other software developers and cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels and across sites.
