About the Role
As a Full-Stack Engineer at Dex, you'll own features end-to-end across our web application. You'll work with a modern stack - React and Next.js on the frontend, FastAPI and Postgres on the backend, all running on GCP.
Your focus will be on delivering high-quality product experiences that delight both candidates and companies, across the following areas:
- Product features
: Building and shipping new features across the full stack - from user interfaces to backend APIs and database design.
- User experience
: Creating intuitive, performant, and accessible interfaces that users love, with a focus on stability and polish.
- Platform reliability
: Ensuring our application is robust, secure, and scalable as we grow.
- Data & analytics
: Building systems to track user behaviour, measure product success, and surface insights to the team.
In this role you will:
- Design and build full-stack features from conception to deployment
- Be a key owner of the user experience across our web application, working closely with design
- Build robust, well-tested APIs and frontend components
- Collaborate with product and design to define feature requirements and technical approach
- Contribute to our technical architecture and help shape engineering best practices
- Work iteratively, shipping frequently and learning from user feedback
