Role: Full Stack Developer
Company: TeamSec
Location: Istanbul
About the role
Take ownership of production-grade financial software serving banks, fintechs, and institutional clients. You'll work on a modern Django/React codebase spanning tokenization, structured finance, invoice processing, and fund accounting — and drive its technical evolution. The ideal candidate blends solid engineering with an understanding of financial workflows, building solutions that directly influence real-world decision-making across digital finance ecosystems.
What you'll do
• Enhance backend algorithms for portfolio structuring, cash-flow modeling, and data analytics in Django.
• Build real-time dashboards and portfolio views in React for financial managers and analysts.
• Optimize API performance handling large datasets (100K+ loan or transaction-level records).
• Implement WebSocket-based progress tracking and event-driven UI updates.
• Integrate with external APIs (banking, risk reporting, tokenization) for automated workflows.
• Automate existing systems and manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain and evolve a Docker-based microservices architecture across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with backend engineers (Django, .NET) and data engineers (PostgreSQL/MSSQL) on end-to-end systems.
• Ensure code quality, testing, documentation, and production readiness across environments.
• Support deployment pipelines within Linux, cloud, and on-premise virtualization environments.
Must-have qualifications
• 5+ years of backend development experience, including 2+ years with Django/DRF, building complex backend logic for data-heavy applications.
• 3+ years with React/Redux or equivalent frameworks for analytical dashboards.
• Strong experience in PostgreSQL optimization and handling of million+ record datasets.
• Proven ability to design, build, and document RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in Docker and microservices deployment under Linux.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — on-premise exposure is a plus.
• Understanding of financial or transactional data structures.
• Ability to ship fast — you break tasks down, move quickly, and don't let perfect block good.
• Active interest in emerging technologies and LLMs — you follow the space and know how to apply new tools.
• Fluent English for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have
• FastAPI experience alongside Django.
• Background in financial technology, tokenization, or structured finance.
• Redis, Celery, or Kafka for asynchronous processing.
• Keycloak or enterprise IAM experience.
• On-premise deployment experience in regulated environments.
• Python data stack (Pandas, NumPy) for analytics integration.
• Kubernetes or container orchestration experience.
• MSSQL experience in production environments.
• Oracle Exadata or data warehouse (DWH) experience.
• DevOps, CI/CD automation.
• AI agent integration or workflow automation experience.
Who you are
• You debug systematically — you can define a problem clearly, trace its root cause, and ship a fix without being told to.
• You take ownership. If something is broken or missing, you own it until it's resolved.
• You're a team player who communicates openly and helps others move forward.
• You can context-switch across multiple active projects without dropping the ball.
Why join us
• Build technology that directly powers next-generation financial systems.
• Modern, modular architecture with clear ownership and real market impact.
• Exposure to multiple domains: tokenization, securitization, fund management, and analytics.
• Flexible, innovative, and globally scalable work environment.
