About Lapsi Health

Lapsi Health is a global medical technology company HQ in Amsterdam with offices in the United States, Finland, and Chile.

The company is building Keikku, a clinical AI platform that transforms clinical sound and conversation into structured medical data. By combining digital auscultation, AI medical scribing, and generative clinical intelligence, Lapsi Health is creating a new interface for AI in healthcare designed to support clinicians and reduce the burden of medical documentation.

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Senior Full Stack Developer (minimum 3 years of experience) with a focus on frontend development to join our team.

The role combines developing modern interfaces with React/Next.js and developing backend services with Node.js/NestJS. You will participate in technical decisions alongside the CTO and work on real-world products with an impact on healthcare.

We’re looking for someone proactive, technically solid, and comfortable in fast-paced environments—excited to work on complex systems (beyond CRUD) and leverage modern tools, including AI.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js
Implement modern, efficient, and scalable user interfaces
Develop and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and NestJS

Requirements

Experience developing applications with React
Experience working with Next.js
Experience in backend development with Node.js
Experience with frameworks such as NestJS
Mid-level seniority with the ability to work autonomously
Experience designing and integrating REST APIs
Knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth) and error handling
Experience with version control (GitHub)

Bonus

Experience deploying or configuring services on AWS: EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, among others
Experience with serverless architectures
Knowledge of databases: Relational (MySQL), NoSQL (DynamoDB)
Experience using frontend deployment platforms such as Vercel
Experience working with audio, streaming, or signal processing
Experience integrating with devices or hardware
Experience with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience using AI tools for development
