Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• System Design & Analysis: Participate actively in system design discussions, contributing to architecture decisions for new features and applications. Conduct requirement analysis to translate complex business needs into clear, technical specifications.
• Back-End Development (Node.js): Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS).
• Front-End Development (React): Create rich, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and related state management/styling libraries. Must have experience in developing complex data visualizations, dashboards, and real-time chat user interfaces.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance

• UX Collaboration: Serve as the technical bridge between engineering and design. Work directly with UX professionals to implement designs and translate UX handover documents (Figma, Sketch, etc.) into functional, high-fidelity user interfaces.
• Code Quality & Testing: Write comprehensive Unit Tests for both front-end and back-end code using frameworks like JEST or similar tools (e.g., Mocha, Enzyme) to ensure reliability and maintainability.
• AI Augmentation: Proactively utilize AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, domain-specific AI platforms) for purposes such as code generation, refactoring, QA testing script creation, and documentation to maximize team velocity.

Deployment & Process

• DevOps & CI/CD: Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for automated testing and deployment.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Possess working experience with cloud services, primarily AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), to manage and scale application infrastructure.
• Agile Practice: Participate fully in Agile Processes (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring continuous, iterative delivery.
• Version Control: Utilize GIT and branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow) for collaborative development and effective version control.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a globally recognized "Tier 1" institution, with a consistently strong academic record (high grades/GPA).
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Node.js or related back-end technologies.
• Front-End Expertise: Strong proficiency in creating modern user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem.
• Architecture: Proven ability to contribute to system design and articulate trade-offs between different architectural choices.
• Testing: Hands-on experience writing Unit Tests using frameworks like JEST.
• Methodology: Demonstrable experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and proficiency with GIT.
• API: Expertise in designing and consuming REST API services.

Highly Desired Skills

• Direct experience partnering with design teams and consuming high-fidelity UX specifications.
• Proven record of using AI tools to measurably increase development efficiency or code quality.
• Familiarity with other front-end libraries (e.g., Next.js, Redux, or similar).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
