ABOUT US
Scalestack is building the AI infrastructure for autonomous enterprise agents.
We’ve had AI systems running in production since 2022, powering agentic infrastructure for companies like Redis, MongoDB, Harvey, Typeform, and Astronomer.
Built in New York, Miami, and Buenos Aires. We are backed by $6M in funding and investors including Zapier Fund.
Our platform is built on a proprietary orchestration engine that runs 70+ integration modules processing millions of records monthly. Our agents are LLM-agnostic: same workflow, any model
provider, no logic changes.

THE ROLE
We build complex web applications: data-heavy tables, multi-step workflow builders, and automation
tools used by enterprise sales and marketing teams at companies like MongoDB, Redis, and Typeform.
Our platform is powered by AI agents that orchestrate workflows, enrich data, and make decisions
at scale. The frontend is where that complexity becomes visible to users, and it needs to be fast,
reliable, and easy to extend.
We are looking for a Frontend Lead based in Buenos Aires who will own the architecture, set the
standards, and do the work. This is a hybrid IC role with technical leadership scope: you will make
the big calls on how we build UIs across the product, mentor engineers on the team, and jump into
the backend when a feature requires it.
You’ll work across two engineering teams: the Orchestrator team (focused on our core execution
engine) and the AI Workflows team (building agent-powered automation for enterprise customers).
The product team is lean — one PM, a CTO who owns architecture and engineering leadership,
and a co-founder driving product vision. You’ll have real influence over how we build and ship.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Frontend Architecture
Define and maintain frontend architecture: component structure, state management, data fetching patterns, build tooling
Lead the design system and shared UI library so engineers stop rebuilding the same things
Set coding standards, review processes, and quality gates that keep the codebase clean as it grows
Own performance: bundle size, render times, core web vitals across the product
AI-Powered Product Surfaces
Build the interfaces that expose our AI agents to users: workflow builders, real-time orchestration views
Design and implement UI patterns for agentic workflows: status tracking, step-by-step execution visibility
Work closely with the AI and backend teams to surface agent outputs in ways that are clear, actionable, and trustworthy for non-technical users
Contribute to how users configure, trigger, and monitor AI agents directly from the product
Shipping Product
Build complex UI features end to end: workflow builders, real-time data views
Work directly with product and design to translate mockups into well-structured, maintainable
code
the feature requires it
Team and Developer Experience
Mentor frontend engineers through code review, pairing, and design discussions
Improve local development setup, CI pipelines, and testing infrastructure
Document patterns and decisions so knowledge does not live in one person’s head
HOW WE WORK
We’re adopting lightweight agile ceremonies — weekly grooming, structured sprints, automated KPI
tracking. Engineers are expected to communicate proactively when blocked, not wait to be asked.
Follow-ups happen in public channels. We value people who own their work end to end: you deploy
it, you monitor it, you fix it when it breaks.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
5+ years of frontend engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or senior role
Deep expertise in React and TypeScript
Experience architecting frontend systems at scale: component libraries, state management, routing, testing
Enough backend experience to contribute meaningfully (REST APIs, data models, basic server-side logic) 5. Track record of shipping and maintaining complex UIs in production 6. Comfortable working in a fast-moving codebase where requirements change
Preferred
Experience building UIs for AI-powered products: agent outputs, streaming responses, workflow visualisation, or similar
Experience working in a design-system-driven team or building one from scratch
Prior work at a B2B SaaS company serving enterprise customers
TECHNOLOGIES YOU’LL WORK WITH
React / TypeScript · Python / FastAPI · MongoDB · Redis Streams · PostgreSQL · AWS
(Lambda, ECS, SQS) · LangGraph · LLM APIs · Event Driven architecture
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• 30 Days: Understand the platform architecture, ship your first frontend feature, and identify quick wins in the codebase
• 60 Days: Own 2-3 frontend projects end to end, start defining component patterns and coding standards for the team
• 90 Days: Drive a design system or shared UI library initiative, reduce UI development time on a key workflow by 30%
• 6 Months: Own the full frontend architecture, have mentored at least one engineer, and contributed to cross-stack features involving AI agent surfaces
• 12 Months: Be the technical authority on all frontend decisions, have shipped major product surfaces for AI orchestration, and shaped how the frontend team scales at Scalestack
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Competitive salary benchmarked to your experience and location
• Flexible and Unlimited PTO
• Equipment reimbursement
• Lots of opportunity to learn, grow and make an impact
• Hybrid: in-office at least once a week in Buenos Aires
OUR VALUES
