The Position
Report to: Lead Frontend Engineer
Being responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, maintaining or developing web applications for multi-instance SaaS and PaaS implementations, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages.
Key Responsibilities
Developing high-quality, testable, and performant software
Design (architecture) + implement (coding) the best solutions for each given problem
Working hand in hand with the product and UX/UI designers
Working with new technologies and keeping updated in a changing environment with new challenges
Building reusable components and Frontend libraries
Write clean, performant, and maintainable code, paying attention to quality and readability
Follow and improve Frontend best practices for writing and deploying code
Take care of cross-browser, cross-platform, and performance issues
Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Must-have
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
Experience and strong core skills with JavaScript (ES6) and React JS
Good understanding of Redux, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS
Understand the importance of testing your code and how it reduces the risk of making changes and refactoring
Solid understanding of Git
Experience with common Frontend development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
Willing to comply with and follow all regulations required when working in a highly regulated environment, such as ISO standards and GMP regulations.
Nice to have
Knowledge and experience with Serverless Architecture and Amazon Web Services
Familiarity with RESTful API
Experience with Node JS, jQuery, and Express JS
Good understanding of Styled Components and Sass
Experience with Storybook
Experience with the Highcharts library
