About the Role

This Frontend Developer position is focused on designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces for web and mobile applications within the PropTech sector. The role is suited for a mid-level professional with a strong background in modern frontend technologies, UI/UX best practices, and a keen interest in real estate technology solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs into high-quality, interactive user experiences.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-device compatibility, ensuring seamless experiences on both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs, ensuring robust data flow and real-time updates for property listings, search, and user dashboards.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of client-side code to ensure reliability, accessibility, and adherence to industry standards.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, code reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain best practices for code quality, documentation, and version control using tools such as Git.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and trends relevant to the PropTech industry, proactively recommending enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver cohesive and innovative solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with hands-on experience in at least one major frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Demonstrated experience building responsive, mobile-first web applications with attention to usability and accessibility (WCAG standards).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous data handling (AJAX, Fetch, Axios), and state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, or NgRx).
• Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Babel, npm, or Yarn.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS) and component-based styling solutions (Styled Components, Emotion, or CSS Modules).
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions, as well as performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, caching).
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally within the PropTech, real estate, or SaaS sectors.
• Portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating modern, interactive web or mobile interfaces.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
• Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the PropTech industry is an advantage.
