About Aqufish

Aqufish is a Malaysian-born social enterprise transforming the aquaculture industry with automation, AI, and real-time monitoring technologies. Our product, Aqumonitor, is an intelligent system that helps farmers improve fish growth, optimize feeding, and monitor environmental health.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Hardware Drafter (Freelance) to assist our technical team in digitizing hardware designs. This is a project-based role ideal for students or junior drafters looking to build a portfolio in AgriTech.

You will be responsible for converting our team’s hand sketches and concepts into professional 2D technical drawings, 3D renders, and electrical connection schematics. You will be working on the hardware packaging for our underwater camera systems, NVRs, and mounting brackets.

Requirements

Software Proficiency : Must be proficient in at least one major CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or Inventor).
Technical Knowledge :

○ Ability to read and interpret hand sketches.

○ Basic understanding of electronic components (wiring, modules) to accurately draw schematics.

Status : Open to University Students, Fresh Graduates, or Junior Freelancers.
Availability : Must be able to meet agreed project deadlines remotely

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Drafting & 3D Modeling

Create detailed 3D models based on rough sketches and specifications provided by the engineering team.
Focus areas: Waterproof housing for underwater cameras, mounting brackets for fish farm infrastructure, and NVR (Network Video Recorder) setups.
Generate high-quality 3D renders for visualization and presentation purposes.

Technical Documentation for Manufacturing

Produce precise 2D technical drawings (orthographic projections) suitable for fabrication/manufacturing.
Include necessary dimensions, tolerances, and material annotations.

Electrical Schematic Drafting

Draft clear and accurate schematic diagrams showing the connections between electronic components.
Specific focus: Interconnections between the Underwater Camera, NVR, and Wi-Fi Module.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, you are expected to submit:

3D Render Files : High-quality visual representations of the assembled hardware.
2D Technical Drawings : PDF and CAD files ready for manufacturing.
System Schematics : A clear diagram illustrating the wiring and data connections between the Camera, NVR, and Wi-Fi module.
