About the Role
We are looking for a
hands-on commercial leader
to launch and scale our
sports field robotics business
in France. This role is not a traditional “country manager” position and not a desk-based sales job. We need someone who can
build the market from the ground up
: identify target customers, generate opportunities, run demos, close early deals, and help shape the local route-to-market model.
You will be the
front-end commercial owner for the France market
, with an initial focus on sports fields, schools, contractors, councils, and other turf maintenance operators.
What You Will Do
Build and manage the early-stage sales pipeline for sports field robotics in France
Identify and prioritize target segments such as schools, academy groups, sports clubs, councils, and turf contractors
Develop and manage direct relationships with key accounts and decision makers
Organize and support product demos with end customers and channel partners
What We Are Looking For
What Success Looks Like
A repeatable pipeline of qualified France opportunities
Early dealer / partner validation where relevant
Strong demo-to-quote and quote-to-close conversion
First reference customers and visible local market traction
A clear, scalable France commercial playbook
Drive the sales process from first contact to quotation, negotiation, and closing
Help define the France go-to-market model, including direct sales, dealer partnerships, and service support
Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment
Collect market feedback on pricing, objections, product fit, and competitive positioning
Build reference accounts and early case studies for the France market
Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and sales reporting
Strong experience in one or more of the following sectors:
Sports turf equipment
Grounds care equipment
Amenity machinery
Line marking equipment
Golf and turf equipment
Contractor / municipal grounds equipment
Proven track record of winning new business and building a market from scratch
Comfortable running commercial conversations with schools, clubs, councils, contractors, and operators
Willing and able to spend significant time in the field
Strong demo mindset: able to turn interest into qualified field trials and sales opportunities
Commercially sharp, practical, and execution-focused
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with dealers, distributors, or service partners is a strong plus
Familiarity with robotics, RTK, autonomous equipment, or professional turf technology is a plus, but not required if turf / grounds experience is strong
