What we need is a single technical owner for:

Robotics system architecture
Mechatronics execution
Safety-critical design
End-to-end technical delivery

This is a hands-on founding role , not a corporate CTO position.

Role Description and Responsibilities

End-to-end robotics system architecture
Mechanical and electromechanical integration onto real machines
Actuation (steering, throttle, braking)
Controls, fail-safes, and safety behavior
Technical roadmap from prototype → pilot → production
Early engineering hires and technical standards
Manufacturing readiness and DFM (with advisors)

Founding partner with real decision authority

Hands-on in early prototyping

Long-term ownership role

What the Role is not

Not a software-only CTO

Not a research-only role

Not a short-term consulting gig

Background in robotics, mechatronics, or electromechanical systems
Experience shipping physical products , not just prototypes
Comfortable with safety-critical systems and real-world constraints
Builder mindset — you like designing, testing, breaking, and improving
Motivated by ownership and impact , not just salary
Experience with ROS/ROS2, mobile robotics, or outdoor/industrial equipment is a plus.

Build real autonomous machines , not demos
Be a true co-founder , not an employee
Shape a product with commercial, residential, and industrial applications
Join early, when architecture and decisions truly matter
