Who are we?
Auggie is an AI-powered platform for dental practices. Our core product helps clinics bring patients back before small problems become big ones and we're building AI agent systems that will transform how practices operate.
We're seed-funded, backed by Antler and Black Nova, with paying customers and real traction. Three founders, backgrounds spanning Harrison.ai, Core Practice (Dental PMS), Nib, Salesforce, SafetyCulture, and Faethm AI. Small, focused, and building something that matters.
Our mission: Healthcare expects people to remember to look after themselves. We're building the system that actually supports them.
What’s in it for you?
You'll be our first engineering hire. That's not a line in a job ad—it's the reality. You'll shape the product, the architecture, and the engineering culture from the ground up.
The CTO is technical and hands-on. You won't be reporting to someone who stopped coding five years ago. You'll be building alongside him, owning entire product areas, and shipping code to real customers within your first week.
This is a founding role. If Auggie succeeds, you'll have been there when it was four people and an idea that worked.

Interview Process
We respect your time. Two stages, no leetcode, done in two weeks (or less).
What This Role Is (and Isn't)
✅ High ownership - you'll own problems, not just tickets
✅ Direct feedback culture - we have a #fck-ups Slack channel where mistakes get shared openly
✅ Pragmatic pace - we ship at 80% and iterate, not polish endlessly
✅ Remote with trust - judged on what you ship, not when you're online
❌ Not for someone who needs detailed specs before they can start
❌ Not for someone who wants to specialise narrowly - you'll need to step outside your lane
❌ Not for someone uncomfortable giving or receiving honest feedback
❌ Not for someone looking for a predictable corporate ladder
