Overview

• The role is at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations, and is considered key to our business.
• You will spend time with our robots in their natural habitat, the construction site, to improve their behavior and performance.
• You’ll be wearing hard hats and hard-toe boots, operating robots both in the office and on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Build walls with our robots, similar to our Construction Robot Operators.
• Identify and solve problems on new construction sites, from solution development to code deployment and testing.
• Build and test new features that enhance robot performance.
• Debug failures on-site, including software, electronics, and mechanical issues.
• Take notes on observations from construction sites and robots for future projects.
• Act as the face and ambassador of the company on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to code with at least 2 years of professional experience solving complex engineering problems.
• No prior experience with robotics is required, but comfort with basic mathematics (e.g., linear algebra) is a strong plus.
• Strong debugging and problem decomposition skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and enjoy hands-on tasks.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch fluency is a plus but not required.
