We’re looking for a software engineer to join the Avular Team!

At Avular , we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic firmware software engineer to strengthen our current team. Here you will work on developing and productizing software components for our modular robotics platforms. In this role, you will make sure that our control and algorithmic engineers can use our products with ROS to create more advanced features. So, you will become the bridge between our hardware and higher-level software engineers or control engineers.

🚀 YOUR MISSION

As part of the team, you will be contributing mainly to the firmware and onboard applications, where you will also be working on the co-development of the architecture. You understand the importance of developing (automated) tests, and your Definition of Done includes these:

Defining and writing the requirements for (new) functionalities
Contributing to our C++ codebase and sometimes Python
Developing firmware for our mobile robot systems
Documenting and testing the required software specifications

⚡ WHO YOU ARE

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years of professional software engineering working experience
Great C++ and Python programming skills
Experience with Linux and microcontrollers
Experience with unit testing and integration testing
