This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, business, and data — you’re fluent in SQL, comfortable building data models from scratch, and motivated by turning complex financial data into insights that drive business outcomes. You’ll act as a close partner to the CFO and the Finance team while collaborating across the org to make sure the numbers not only add up — but tell the right story.

What Youʼll Do 🚀

• Own the design, development, and maintenance of financial data models and performance reporting.
• Write and optimize SQL to build reliable, scalable, and reusable data assets for Finance and other teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Finance team to support reporting, accounting processes, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Deliver thoughtful analysis and clear insights that influence decisions around revenue, cost, and growth.
• Build dashboards and tools that track key financial and operational metrics.
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure clean, trustworthy data foundations
• Support cross-functional projects with Product, Strategy, Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting processes.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE 💥

• 5+ years of experience in Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar role.
• Excellent SQL skills and strong experience working with large datasets.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data models to support financial planning and analysis.
• Solid understanding of core financial and accounting concepts.
• Experience working with BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Comfortable collaborating with both Finance stakeholders and engineering teams, and aligning data work to business needs.
• Strong communication skills – you’re great at translating business needs to data needs, and turning data into insights.
• Experience driving projects independently, with a structured and proactive approach.
• Bonus points for experience with programming languages (Python, R) or prior work in SaaS/tech environments.
