About the Role
As WelcomeHome’s Finance Manager, you will own the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and functional support necessary to enable WelcomeHome’s next stage of growth.
This role reports to WelcomeHome’s Controller, and will regularly partner with company stakeholders to translate department-level goals into their financial impacts. You’ll operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder; responsible for standing up new reporting cadences, leading the budget/forecast process, and providing WelcomeHome’s leadership with the analysis they need to make informed decisions.
This role is hybrid, based out of our Atlanta HQ. Onboarding is fully in person for the initial ~3 months, at the discretion of your supervisor.
The Responsibilities:
Financial planning & forecasting
- Own the end-to-end annual budgeting process
- Partner with accounting to regularly reconcile budget and actuals
- Lead regular reforecasting, and maintain a rolling 12-18 month forecast
- Develop long-range planning models (3-5 years) tied to the company’s goals
- Build and maintain cash flow forecasts
Reporting & insights
- Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual executive reporting packages
- Create robust reporting mechanics and decision making cadences for common SaaS financial metrics, including: ARR/MRR/CARR, NRR/GRR, LTV/CAC and rule of 40
- Provide deep-dive analysis on customer cohorts, pricing, and expansion/retention trends
- Translate metrics into clear, concise, and representative narratives for WelcomeHome’s leadership team
- Identify and implement tools to enhance FP&A capabilities
Business partnering & decision support
- Act as the primary finance partner to functional leaders across:
- Sales and Marketing (GTM spend, CAC efficiency, magic number)
- Customer Success (retention, expansion, churn)
- HR (org structure, headcount planning)
- Support decision-making on: hiring plans, pricing, and platform investments
- Make clear recommendations on where to invest (and, where not to)
A great candidate might have:
- 5-8+ years in FP&A, consulting or corporate finance
- Experience in SaaS or scaling in a high-growth environment ($10M-$100M ARR)
- Outstanding excel & financial modeling ability
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40, etc.
- Track record of partnering outside of finance, developing meaningful professional relationships
- A penchant for sweating the details
