Your role
As Finance Manager, you will be key to Cambrium’s success by ensuring financial excellence for multiple entities across operations, compliance, and commercial initiatives. You’ll work closely with our Chief of Staff and cross-functional teams to bring clarity, discipline, and structure into a growing environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Reporting & Accounting
Work closely with our external accountants and tax advisors on tight deadlines
Own day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bookkeeping
Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including reconciling inter-company transactions for our German and French entity
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support the budget and forecasting process across teams and entities
Monitor key KPIs and financial metrics, and deliver actionable recommendations
Fundraising & Investor Reporting
Support non-dilutive funding reporting and applications (grants, loans) and financing rounds
Help prepare investor reporting materials such as monthly updates and board presentations
Your profile
Minimum 5 years experience in a finance function, experience in a startup or scale-up is a plus
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, Master’s or MBA is a plus
Excellent Excel skills and experience with startup relevant accounting systems, e.g. Moss/Spendesk, Datev
You stay structured and detail-oriented, even in a fast-paced startup environment where you need to be hands on
Ability to communicate financial and regulatory matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Excellent communication skills in English and German
