About Biocentis
Biocentis is a life sciences company pioneering a completely new class of products: genetically modified insects designed to control harmful species that damage public health, agriculture, and biodiversity.
We are an Imperial College spin-out backed by leading climate and deep-tech investors. Our next years are pivotal: advancing our products into trials, securing partners, expanding our pipeline, building the foundations of a new product category.
The Role
We have recently closed a $19 million Seed Round and are now looking to strengthen the finance function ahead of our international expansion and upcoming field trials. We are seeking a Finance Intern to support our Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer during this critical phase.
This is a rare opportunity to work side-by-side with the management team and gain hands-on exposure to the implementation of financial tools and best practices in a fast-growing startup environment.
This role is ideal for someone in the final years of their education or at an early stage of their career (up to 2 years of experience). Exceptional rigor and attention to detail are a must-have, but we are also looking for a self-directed problem solver who can independently research issues, leverage online resources and AI tools, and arrive at effective solutions on their own.
