As we scale, how we run finance and admin ops internally becomes critical — and that’s where this role comes in.

The role

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of finance and admin ops internally — and build how this should actually work as we grow. We already work with external partners for bookkeeping and financial modelling. Your role is to make sure everything internally is structured, correct, and actually works in practice .

You will both run the day-to-day and improve how it’s done.

That means:

• You execute core finance admin ops (payments, payroll, billing, follow-ups)
• You ensure everything is correct, complete, and on time
• You build better systems so things don’t stay manual

This role sits at the core of the company: money, decisions, and how we operate.

What you’ll own

Run the internal finance engine

You are responsible for making sure things actually get done:

• Payments, payroll inputs, billing, and follow-ups
• Internal documentation and financial structure
• Making sure nothing falls between the cracks

Make external setups work

• Work closely with bookkeeping and CFO partners
• Ensure they get correct, complete, and timely inputs
• Follow up on reporting, models, and outputs
• Turn internal reality into clean financial structure

Build systems and improve how we operate

• Design and improve finance and admin processes
• Set up tools, workflows, and structure
• Automate repetitive work where possible
• Improve how data flows between systems
• Own areas like grant reporting and internal tracking

You will run it, fix it, and improve it — continuously.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to check every box — but these matter a lot:

Strong financial foundation (required)

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial control
• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping, financial structure, and controls
• You know what “good” looks like — and care about doing things properly

This is not a role where you learn finance from scratch.

Builder mindset

• You don’t just follow processes — you improve them
• You get frustrated when things are manual, messy, or inefficient
• You take initiative and figure things out without waiting
• You like owning both execution and improvement

Technical curiosity (very important)

You’re not a developer — but you’re also not “just a finance person”.

• You’ve experimented with tools, automation, or light coding
• You’re comfortable trying things out (scripts, APIs, workflows, AI tools, etc.)
• You’re not blocked by technical tasks
• You enjoy learning new ways to improve how work gets done

This could come from:

• Side projects
• Automating things in previous roles
• General curiosity and experimentation

We’re specifically looking for someone who combines:
