About the Role
───────────────────────────
As a Field Services Engineer, you'll be the face of HeyGears for our customers on the East Coast. You'll help them successfully deploy and operate our cutting-edge 3D printing and scanning technology — from installation through ongoing support. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with real ownership and room to grow into a leadership position as our team scales.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with our sales team to conduct on-site or remote surveys of customer workplaces and deliver tailored setup proposals
• Oversee equipment installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure smooth deployment
• Train clients on scanner operation, software usage, and 3D printer functionality
• Provide responsive technical support — troubleshooting issues and guiding customers step-by-step to resolution
• Follow up with customers to confirm issues are fully resolved and satisfaction is achieved
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure proper closure of all support cases
• Contribute to developing service procedures, policies, and standards that elevate the customer experience
• Monitor and analyze technical support metrics, and share actionable insights with the team
• As you grow: help recruit, mentor, and lead junior members of the Technical Support team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field — new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Fast learner with genuine curiosity about technology and products
• Customer-facing experience from internships, part-time roles, or academic projects is valued
• Proficiency in CAD software; ability to read schematic diagrams; familiarity with PLC systems or an electrician certificate is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Excellent communication, presentation, and active listening skills
• Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable adapting and thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
