Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid 8 week Fellowship role based in Washington, DC and West Lafayette, IN, with the flexibility to work remotely for some tasks. The Fellow will engage in research, development, and implementation of AI and machine learning-driven solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets, building and testing machine learning models, and contributing to system performance optimization. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver solutions tailored to industry requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding and experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
- Proficiency in data analysis, building and deploying machine learning models
- Background in software development, including experience with programming languages such as
C++ (required),
- Python and Java.
- Capability in research, problem-solving, and system performance optimization
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense sectors is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required
. Hands on experience is required.
