About the Program
This one-week spotlight program is for designers who love knitwear in all its forms. From chunky and artisanal textures to fine-gauge and modern knits, this program focuses on exploring knit-led silhouettes, surface design, and stitch-inspired detailing using AI.
The emphasis is on experimentation, material storytelling, and creative exploration.
How the Program Works
Step 1: Apply on LinkedIn
Share a link to your portfolio along with a short note under 50 words explaining why you want to explore this program. After applying, you will receive a DM with a short Designer Task Form.
Step 2: Complete the Design Task
Sign up on The F* Word platform. It is free to begin.
Please use a desktop or laptop, as mobile design is not supported at this time.
Create one or more AI-generated knitwear designs using the tools inside the platform. Upload your final images and links in the task form.
Form link will be shared once shortlisted
Step 3: Get Selected
Our team reviews submissions every Friday. Selected designers will be invited to join the program as Featured Designers for one week with added access and visibility.
You will receive an email update on the Friday following your submission.
What You Will Do During the Week
Create knitwear-focused designs using AI tools
Experiment with cables, ribbing, jacquard-style patterns, and knit-driven silhouettes
Take part in challenges inspired by yarn textures, seasonal knitwear trends, and pattern storytelling
Share your final designs with the wider fashion community

All applicants who complete the design task receive a Certificate of Participation.
