Why this role matters We are looking for a Senior C++/ Computer Vision Engineer with experience in deploying products to actual production environments.

We have a fast growth period ahead of us during which we scale our product deployments rapidly with multiple customers. In your role you will help us optimize our code base both for performance and scalability as well as manage the necessary customer specific customizations (and help keep them to a minimum).

You will contribute to a broad spectrum of topics ranging from implementing modern C++ concepts and architecture to getting to work with different ML/ AI inference frameworks and optimizing for different hardware architectures.

What You’ll Do In your work you will

• Apply modern C++ (C++20) concepts and architecture to make our code scalable and extendible
• Maintain and extend communication standards between our product and various retail POS solutions
• Optimize hardware utilization on different platforms
• Improve our CI pipelines and deployment pipelines
• Improve our tests, test coverage and static code checks
• Help prototype and develop new features and products

What You Bring (Must-Have Skills) We value intelligence, curiosity and a solution-driven mindset higher than existing skills.

Still, for this role we expect you to have:

• In-depth experience in C++ modern coding concepts, threading and memory management
• Solid baseline in Computer Vision/ image processing or alternatively efficient ML inference
• Good understanding of CMake or comparable build tools
• Familiarity with professional software development tools & concepts, like git, Agile development, containerization, CI / CD

Nice to Have Beyond the above stated, we appreciate if you bring experience in the following:

• Kubernetes/ Docker / Containerization
• ML inference engines like PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT
• Conan or similar package managers
• C++ unit testing / TDD
• Python based prototyping
• Networking protocols like HTTP, MQTT
