Role Overview:
We are looking for an Engineering Leader / Manager to take end-to-end ownership of Product features technical delivery which comprises of taking UX/Features requirement as input to produce technical design, development, system tested quality delivery for our multi-customer SaaS product . This role requires a strong technical background, clear process thinking, and proven people leadership to drive execution and build reliable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical design for new and existing modules, impact analysis to existing features for comprehensive design to implement features & product enhancement ensuring scalability, security, performance, and long-term maintainability of the platform. Own system design decisions across backend, and platform services.
• Engineering Process Ownership: Define and drive engineering (design & development) processes across requirement intake, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and release management. Ensure team follows structured development practices, documentation standards, and delivery discipline.
• Team Management: Mentor and guide engineers, conduct performance reviews, and support individual growth plans. Ensure clarity in priorities, remove blockers, and build a strong culture of ownership, accountability, and quality.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive quality improvement, learnings from failures & retrospection, root cause analysis feeding into continuous improvement of engineering processes
• Requirement to Delivery: Work closely with product, presales, and customer teams to understand requirements, translate them into system designs and execution plans, and track progress through delivery and post-release support.
• Quality, Stability & Reliability: Drive automation, ensure testing discipline, and reduce defect leakage. Own incident/customer discovered defects RCA, and continuous improvement of system performance and uptime.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, QA, Support, and Presales teams to align engineering execution with business goals. Support customer discussions and technical solutioning when required.
• Tools & automation: Stay up to date on new tech developments, bring new ways of technology delivery with focus on faster, cheaper & high quality product featuresTrack, identify & reduce technical debt, improve development workflows, and adopt better tools and standards. Promote learning culture and excellence in engineering practices.
