About the Role
Sprig is building a best-in-class product experience platform that helps leading companies understand how users engage with their products—at scale. The Core Engineering team focuses on delivering lightweight, high-performance SDKs alongside the web experiences that enable teams to run and manage research programs.
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll take ownership across the entire technical surface area: customer-facing SDKs, the React dashboard, and the backend services that support them. The systems you build and maintain will be used globally and must meet a high bar for quality, reliability, and performance.
This position is based in San Francisco, with an expectation of working from the office three days per week.
Your Impact
Join a seasoned engineering group and contribute early to shaping a highly scalable, production-grade product
Lead the development and release of publicly available SDKs relied on by millions of users
Build, maintain, and improve backend services with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and long-term maintainability
Design and implement React-based dashboards and supporting APIs to deliver fast, reliable user experiences
Partner with product and engineering leadership to help define and evolve the product roadmap
Share best practices, mentor peers, and help raise the bar for engineering quality across teams
Your Strengths
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Significant experience building and deploying customer-facing React applications in production environments
A demonstrated history of shipping high-quality, maintainable software using established development practices
Experience identifying, instrumenting, and resolving performance issues across the stack
Strong motivation to learn, experiment, and move quickly in a fast-growing product environment
Prior experience supporting and mentoring other engineers, with a desire to continue doing so
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and explaining technical decisions
Familiarity with some of the technologies in our stack is a plus, including AWS, React, Node.js, ClickHouse, and Postgres
