Job Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a specialised engineering team. This role requires strong people leadership, technical depth, and the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced B2C product environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage engineers within core specialisation (Backend / Frontend / AI) while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance related to your expertise, including architecture, development best practices, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams to define roadmap, scope requirements, and drive end-to-end execution.
• Ensure systems are built for scale, maintainability, and reliability to support a growing B2C user base.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance development for engineers.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with 1–2 years of team leadership.
• Deep technical expertise in one primary area:
• Backend Engineering (RESTful APIs, microservices, databases, authentication)
• Frontend Engineering (modern JS frameworks, performance optimisation, state management)
• Experience building and scaling consumer-facing (B2C) web and mobile applications.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and containerization (Kubernetes).
