The Role

As an Engineering Manager at 11x, you’ll lead a high-performing technical team that builds products at the edge of what’s possible. You’ll balance project execution, technical excellence, and people leadership—helping us move fast while keeping quality high.

What You’ll Do

Project & Delivery Management

• Own team execution: run standups, manage sprints, and keep projects moving on schedule.
• Write and review feature specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment with product and business priorities.
• Drive bug triage and resolution processes, balancing urgency with long-term quality.

Technical Leadership

• Provide direction on technical architecture and system design, making calls that set us up for long-term scalability.
• Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Identify and adopt the right tools, frameworks, and processes that help the team move faster without sacrificing reliability.

People Management

• Coach, mentor, and grow engineers across both technical and career development paths.
• Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Help shape hiring processes to bring in top-tier talent as the team scales.

AI-First Development

• Champion best practices in using AI as a development tool—code generation, debugging, testing, and more.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and drive adoption across the team.
• Partner with product and design to push what’s possible in AI-enabled products.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a management or technical leadership role.
• Strong technical foundation in modern web architectures, distributed systems, or AI/ML applications.
• Proven ability to run teams that ship fast without breaking things.
• Comfortable making tough tradeoffs and setting clear priorities in ambiguous situations.
• Deep curiosity about AI—both as a product capability and as a developer productivity tool.
• Excellent communication skills, with a bias for clarity and directness.
