The Automation Co-op Engineer works under the immediate or close supervision of process control engineers providing exposure to refinery control systems. This positions works very closely with the Process Engineering Department, Maintenance, and Operations personnel on assigned projects with a term end presentation expected. The Automation Co-op Engineer works on projects involving the following areas: monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing regulatory process control strategies, online inferential property calculations, multivariable model-based Advanced Process Control (APC) applications, Alarm Management, High Performance HMI development, and process data analysis.
