About The Role You will join a dedicated R&D initiative developing a wireless link module enabling robust and reliable data transmission between a drone and its base station. As the Embedded Software Engineer , you will be responsible for designing and maintaining software systems running on the UAV platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and fault tolerance in real-time environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize the embedded operating system for UAV platforms, ensuring real-time responsiveness and reliability
• Design and implement a scalable and modular embedded software architecture that supports future feature expansion and robust fault handling
• Develop, test, and debug low-level drivers for various onboard sensors and peripherals
• Integrate real-time algorithms and data flows in close collaboration with the Algorithmic and Hardware teams
• Enhance and maintain telemetry and communication systems for drone-ground station data exchange
• Conduct performance profiling, debugging, and continuous optimization to meet latency and power constraints
• Contribute to system-level debugging and field testing with other R&D teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Engineering school graduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience developing embedded software, ideally in robotics, drones, aerospace, or automotive industries
• Languages: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Tools & Practices: Familiarity with build systems, embedded toolchains, version control, and CI workflows
• Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives.
