Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician/Technologist for a part-time, on-site position in Toronto, ON. The primary responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for EEG tests, attaching electrodes to specific areas of the patient’s head, closely monitoring EEG readings during tests, and maintaining accurate records. The technician will also work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality care and accurate data acquisition.

Qualifications

Proficiency in performing EEG tests and understanding EEG technology
Knowledge of migraine and neurophysiology preferred
Familiarity with medical protocols and procedures related to headache and neurological disorders
Strong patient care skills, including the ability to interact compassionately and professionally with patients
Attention to detail and ability to ensure the accuracy of diagnostic readings and documentation
Applicable certification or licensure in EEG technology from a recognized program
Experience with headache or neurological disorder diagnosis and monitoring is a plus
Understanding of machine learning applications in medical diagnostics is an asset
